Since 2022, José Luis has been working at the European Union Reference Laboratory for Pesticide Residues in Fruit and Vegetables (EURL-FV), where he holds the position of chemical analyst specialising in gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) for the analysis of pesticide residues in fruit and vegetables according to the ISO/IEC 17025. He also participates in the preparation of proficiency tests according to the ISO/IEC 17043 and also in other projects based on passive sampling such as the INSIGNIA project and the EXISTE project. In addition, Jose Luis is currently pursuing a PhD focused on the use of passive samplers to study human exposure to contaminants.
